I have started using a great web search service that allows me to earn money from searching in my normal way. It`s quick and free to set up, keeps you up to date on your earnings and pays out monthly.
By replacing your browsers search box with your own revenue generating box, or by setting Homepages Friends as your homepage you can earn money as you search.
Well known search providers such as Google, Ask & Yahoo receive advertising revenue from many of the companies featured in their search results.
Homepages Friends has partnered with leading search engine Yahoo! to reward new users and ongoing loyalty by paying out a large portion of this advertising revenue when the search is made through one of their boxes. By combining all this search traffic they are able to negotiate a stronger deal with Yahoo! and they are passing up to 67.5% of this revenue back to us, the user.
Guide to Searching
1. After log-in, put their browser search box to your browser. I use Firefox 3, I choose the search box, it's easy. Or setting Homepages Friends as your homepage you can earn money as you search. The service currently works on Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 ( IE7) and Mozilla/ Firefox browsers.
2. Searching cleverly. Only a little bit, but with high paying keywords. For firefox users do not use AdBlock Plus. (Be careful, don't search too many (Only search 5-20/day). Quoting from the FAQ:"You are doing precisely what you already do - search the internet in the normal way- (ie no repetitive searching or anything which could be construed by homepages friends or our affiliate partners as deliberate attempts to generate revenue without regard to the results being returned))"
3. Click the first sponsor result at the top.
It`s completely free and you can start earning right away.
They pay in Poundsterling, a minimum of £20 and are paid 45 days after the month end.
For searches in August they pay you in mid October. If you have not reached this amount in any month they will hold the payment over to the next month. They pay through PayPal (International) and bank account transfer (UK and Europe only).
