For a week I have read and learned about a new free traffic alternative. It sounds too good to be true, but I think I should give a try. It is a viral traffic ads. Because of the viral nature of the system, maybe my ads will soon be displayed on thousands of websites all over the Internet, with very little work on my part.
How does it Work?
The Widgeteers website provides widgets, ad blocks, fly-in ads and exit ads that you can display on your website. Their fly-in ads and exit ads don't open in a new window the way popups do. They will be embedded into your webpage as an integral part of your website. It means the ads can't be blocked by popup blockers. And of course you can customize it, so you can choose which one is proper for your web page.
You earn ad credits whenever visitors see a widget (or other ad unit) on your web page, i.e. each time your page loads. It is good for people in Entrecard and LinkReferral.
You receive additional credits when you refer someone to join and display widgets on their web site. This continues for a full ten levels deep, making your ad impressions so viral that they are literally unstoppable. Wow!
Your ad credits enable your own ad to appear in widgets on the websites of other members in the network. The more ad credits you have, the more often your ad appears in other people's widgets.
How Could I Make Money?
The basic advertising service offered by The Widgeteers is free. But some people choose to upgrade to a paying membership level, to take advantage of the Diamond or Platinum packages. In that case, the person who referred them receives a commission.
Commissions vary, depending on your membership level.
